about

This song was originally written when Friend For A Foe was a solo project under the title "Omega". We went through some various iterations and revamps, but the song was never released properly so it has been heavily reworked once again for Capslock and features some tasty lead work by my former right-hand man in FFaF, Tony Marshall.

"Terminus" (formerly "Omega") is about succumbing and admitting to defeat. It can be interpreted in a multitude of ways in where you have lost and that is the end of that story or you may have lost, but the battle is not yet over. It can be applied to a variety of life trials and tribulations, but it was written at a time where I was unsure of what would happen after dealing with some hardships. The song is aggressive throughout, but the ending, while heavy, leaves on a somber note and fades out almost leaving an ellipses or a "to-be-continued" phrasing of the story being told.
